I’m thrilled to be a part of the “Kemper Unplugged” series at WashU. I’ll be sharing the stage with my guitar collegues Brian Vaccaro and Farshid Etniko Soltanshahi for a great program of Latin music “from Tango to Bossa Nova.” I’ll be performing works by Sergio Assad, Maximo Diego Pujol, and Roland Dyens.
I’ll be joining some of my colleagues from UMSL for a faculty showcase concert. This will be a wonderful concert full of variety. I’ll be performing my biggest hit from last season called “Benga Beat” by Gary Ryan.
This solo concert will be showcasing old and new masterpieces for the guitar, including works by Mertz, Bach (wait, really? Yes really!), Albeniz, Rodrigo, Assad, M. D. Pujol, and Ryan
It’s always an honor to be asked back to a venue! This time I’m returning to the wonderful acoustics of Timothy Lutheran Church in South City STL. This concert has a built-in backup date for Feb. 6 in the event of inclement weather.
Last year’s Valentines Day concert went so well, we’re doing it again! Back to Iowa I go to solo with a wonderful regional orchestra for a special one-day-only concert. Repertoire TBA.
I’m grateful to be asked back to a venue. I’ll be performing again at Second Presbyterian Church for the Couts Music Series, but this time you and I get to explore the warm and intimate space of the church’s chapel, Niccolls Hall.
One of my favorite venues in STL! I’m honored to be a resident artist here. The Chapel Venue has a beauty and intimacy that is unrivaled. Expect exquisite and dazzling solo guitar works.
Another solo concert to close out the season! This is one of my favorite venues in STL. Expect beautiful and lyrical pieces, as well as plenty guitar pyrotechnics.
$15 general admission at the door.
This is such a fun concert featuring many of the talented faculty of the Washington University Music Dept. I’m just a small part of what will be an exiting evening.
This solo concert features many great works that champion guitarst-composers. The guitar is a notoriously difficult instrument to write for, so who better to do it than the guitarists themselves! Featuring works by Giuliani, Barrios, Ourkouzounov, Ryan, Llobet, and more.
It’s a homecoming!! I’m so happy to be returning to my alma mater for a concert and master class! Many thanks to my old teacher Robert Thompson and head of guitar studies Dr. Paulo Oliveira for making this happen.
NOW RESCHEDULED FROM DECEMBER!
I’m so excited and honored to be playing with the Chamber Music Society of St. Louis! This “Special Blend” collaboration with St Louis Classical Guitar will feature beautiful solo guitar music of Giuliani, Albeniz, Barrios, Myers, and Llobet, and a chamber music set of Krouse, Vivaldi, and Donizetti.
Event takes place at Pilsbury Theater at thet 560 Music Building. Check out the event link here
It’s always an honor to be asked back to collaborate with an orchestra! I’m going back to Iowa for a one day only Valentine’s Special.
